| Lions golf off to a strong start The Ouachita Lions golf team is off to a solid start to the 2010 season. Ouachita has played three tourments so far this season, placing in second at Morehouse, first at Twin Oaks and second at Black Bear. Tyler Wheeler placed first overall in the Twin Oaks tourment with Roy Brown in third and Shane McQuillin in fifth. Roy Brown placed first in the Black Bear Tournament with a season low of 79. Golf team to start play March 2 The Ouachita boys golf team is scheduled to begin its 2010 season March 2 with a tournament at Morehouse Country Club in Bastrop. Members of the Ouachita golf team are as follows: Roy Brown; Caleb Collins; William Long; Shane McQuillin; Daniel Roscoe; and Tyler Wheler. All of the golfers return from last year's team except Collins. The Ouachita golf team is coached by Michael Armand. |
